University, but the Cavs came up just short in a 7-6 loss against the Clan who punched their ticket to the eight-team double elimination bracket at the NAIA National Championship with a 3-0 record in pool play.
The Blue Raiders - making their first appearance at the national championship - finished with a 2-1 record in pool play, while Concordia finished 2-1 as well and Bellevue (Neb.) University finished 0-3.
Lindsey Wilson ends the season with a 47-14 record and 22-6 mark in Mid-South Conference play. The Blue Raiders won their first MSC Regular-Season title and third conference tournament championship.

Ramirez wasn't alone with pitching success as junior Morgan Paschall finished with a 20-5 record and a 1.34 ERA with 206 strikeouts.
Junior catcher Ally Goniea led the team in batting average with a .387 mark and led the team in home runs with 10 and RBIs with 53. Sophomore shortstop Jamie Williams closed the season with a .370 batting average with 16 RBIs and two home runs.
Ashley McCool made a strong impression on coaches around the MSC as she was voted the conference's coach of the year by her peers after leading the Blue Raiders to their first national tournament in her first season as head coach.
With no departing seniors, Lindsey Wilson will likely be among the favorites to win the MSC Championship again in 2011 and make another run at the NAIA National Championship.
