COLUMBIA, Ky. -- Lauren Seibert made sure the Lindsey Wilson College softball team stayed perfect in the LWC/Campbellsville Classic, belting a two-run home run in the bottom of the third inning to help the Blue Raiders beat Union (Ky.) College 4-0 on Saturday at the Lindsey Wilson Sports Park.

The Blue Raiders improved to 2-0 in the classic with the win after topping Davenport (Mich.) University 4-2 in nine innings earlier in the day.

Besides Seibert's round tripper, Lindsey Wilson added two more runs in the third inning as junior centerfielder Amy Harner scored on a groundout by senior catcher Ally Goniea and junior shortstop Jamie Williams scored from third on a sacrifice bunt by junior third baseman Emily Priar.

Neither team scored the rest of the way as the Blue Raider racked up 11 hits compared to just one for the Bulldogs.

Harner led Lindsey Wilson at the plate, going 3-for-4 with a run scored while sophomore left fielder Alexis Rodgers and junior first baseman Amy Buwalda each added two hits, including a double for Buwalda.
