Box Score 2 GULF COAST, Ala. -- After a perfect run through pool play, the Lindsey Wilson College softball team suffered a pair of losses today in the tournament portion of the Gulf Coast Invitational hosted by University of Mobile (Ala.).
The Blue Raiders (21-4) fell to host Mobile 7-2 in today's opener and lost to Auburn University Montgomery (Ala.) 3-2 in the consolation round of the eight-team Gold Bracket.
No. 14-ranked Lindsey Wilson managed just six hits against the host Rams in the today's first loss.
Alexis Rodgers led the Blue Raider offense with a pair of hits while Emily Priar and Jamie Williams each drove in a run.
While the Blue Raider bats were quiet for the most part, seven Rams had multiple-hit games as No. 22-ranked Mobile pounded out 15 hits.
