MIDWAY, Ky. -- It was an easy day for the No. 14-ranked Lindsey Wilson College softball team today as the Blue Raiders swept host Midway (Ky.) College 8-0 and 11-1 in a NAIA doubleheader.

The Blue Raiders (13-2) used a combined perfect game from Jordan Hood and Cara Law to win the opener. The pitching pair faced the minimum of 21 batters while striking a combined 15 Midway batters.

While the pitching was unhittable, the Blue Raider bats recorded 16 hits led by Kristina Krupinski's three-hit day. She finished the game with a home run, two runs scored and two RBIs.

Four other Blue Raiders tallied two hits, including Jamie Williams -- who added a team-high three RBIs in the game.

In the nightcap, the Blue Raiders scored 11 times on 14 hits for their 13th win of the season.

Mikaila Etheredge led the Lindsey Wilson offense going 3-for-3 with two runs and two RBIs. Williams added two more hits in game two with three runs scored.

Lauren Seibert and Krupinski combined to allow just one unearned run while scattering five Midway (0-2) hits. The Blue Raider duo combined for 14 strikeouts.

Lindsey Wilson returns to action on Saturday, March 3, as the Blue Raiders host University of the Cumberlands in the Mid-South Conference opener at Lindsey Wilson Sports Park. First pitch for the doubleheader is scheduled for Noon CT.
