Game 1: Lindsey Wilson 4 Cumberlands 2

Lindsey Wilson scored twice in the third and fifth innings and Annabelle Ramirez (7-2) made it stand up in the circle with a complete-game effort to take the first game of the doubleheader.

Ramirez allowed two runs on four hits while striking out two Patriot hitters.

Lyric Houston scored the game's first run in the third as she reached on a single and scored on an error. Callum Pilgrim drove home Amy Rogers later in the inning to give Lindsey Wilson a 2-0 lead.

Cumberlands cut the deficit in half with a run in the bottom of the third only to have Lindsey Wilson add two runs in the fifth inning.

Rogers opened the inning with a walk and moved to third on a double from Pilgrim. Kalli Harris provided a two-out, two-run single to push the Blue Raiders in front 4-1.

Cumberlands (8-16, 3-3 in the MSC) trimmed the Lindsey Wilson lead to 4-2 as Elisa Mauldin tripled home a run. Ramirez retired the next five batters -- two batters in the sixth with a runner on third base and a one-two-three seventh inning -- to close out the win.
