COLUMBIA, Ky. -- The No. 11-ranked Lindsey Wilson women's tennis team fell 6-1 on Wednesday evening to No. 12 LSU Alexandria at the Henry Baughman Tennis Complex.

Lindsey Wilson (2-2) won just one of three doubles matches as Alexandra Parra and Lucia Mora won the top-seeded match on a 7-5 score. The Generals took the other two matches to take the doubles point and a 1-0 lead in the match.

Parra added an individual win to earn the Blue Raiders only point of the match on a 6-3, 6-3 result at the top-seeded singles.

LSU Alexandria took all five other singles matches to pick up a 6-1 victory over the Blue Raiders.

Lindsey Wilson is back in action on Friday, March 13, when they take on No. 6 William Woods University at Henry Baughman Tennis Complex at 2:30 p.m. CT.
