COLUMBIA, Ky. - Lindsey Wilson student-athlete Mayra Gisone has been named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-America First Team for the 2025-26 women's tennis season.
 
Gisone earns the honor for the first time in her career and becomes the fifth player in program history to be named to the Academic All-America Team. She is one of 12 players from around the NAIA to earn the distinction.
 
Gisone, a senior from Santa Fe, Argentina, holds a 3.87 grade point average in Business Administration. This season, she posted a 15-4 overall record with all 15 wins coming at No. 1. In doubles, Gisone teamed up with Martina Cortal, posting a perfect 17-0 record at No. 2 doubles.
 
She helped lead the Blue Raiders to a 19-2 overall record, the Mid-South Conference regular season and tournament titles, and an appearance in the NAIA Championship match.
