DANVILLE, Ky. - The Lindsey Wilson men's track and field team corralled a second place finish at the Centre Twilight on Friday at Farris Stadium in Danville, Kentucky.

The Blue Raiders earned 150 team points during the meet, falling on the heels of Centre (Ky.) who was crowned champions with 211 points.

LWC claimed the winning time in the 4x400 meter relay, which featured K'ron Sherald, Brenden Parham, Josiah Harris, and Jaylun Wallace. The quartet raced ahead to the winning time of 3:20.93.

In the 200 meter dash, Wallace brought home a second place time of 22.29. Wallace also performed well in the 400 meter dash, managing another second place finish of 49.11. Sherald was fifth in the race (50.76).

Harris added eight team points and a second place finishing time in the 400 meter hurdles at 1:00.91. Hunter Wethington also competed in the event, notching fifth place (1:02.03).

Jim Headrick paced himself to the second-best time in the 5,000 meter run, crossing with a mark of 15:56.17.

The Blue Raiders notched the second, third, and fifth place spots in the 1,500 meter run. Mike Schonter grabbed second with his time of 4:03.75, while Noah Brown (4:13.53) and Victor Clark (4:15.19) went third and fifth, respectively.

The No. 2 and No. 3 finishing throws in the shot put belonged to LWC. Austin Campbell managed a second place toss of 14.54 meters while Elias Foor was close behind with his best lob of 14.46 meters. Both Campbell and Foor also competed in the discus throw, with Foor corralling a second place finish (46.27 meters) and Campbell a fifth place finish (43.29 meters).

Tevon Williamson added a top-three finish in the 110 meter hurdles, garnering third with his time of 16.70. John Rowe added a sixth place finish and three team points.

Justin Borden competed in the long jump, jumping into fourth place with a leap of 6.59 meters. Borden also made an appearance in the triple jump, finishing sixth at 13.25 meters. Rayne Jones-Foster was third in the triple jump at 13.42 meters.

The Blue Raiders had a strong showing in the high jump, bringing home the No. 2, No. 5, and No. 6 spots. Jelle Goldbach cleared a mark of 2.00 meters, which was good enough for second. Borden (1.90 meters) and Tevon Williamson (1.85 meters) ended in fifth and sixth, respectively.

Jordan Tucker found his way into the top-five of the 3,000 meter steeplechase, finishing in fifth at a time of 10:43.23.

Cameron Harris was the lone Blue Raider to compete in the pole vault, where he cleared a height of 2.95 meters for fourth place.

Lindsey Wilson managed more top-five finishes in Tyler Greenwell and Schonter, who each added team points in their respective events. Greenwell produced a fifth place time of 11.27 in the 100 meter dash, while Schonter crossed the finish line in fifth as well in the 800 meter run (1:59.32).

The Lindsey Wilson men's track and field team is set to return to action on April 25 at the Mid-South Conference Meet in Williamsburg, Ky.
