WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. – The Lindsey Wilson men's outdoor track & field team finished in first place at the Mid-South Conference Championships. The Blue Raiders rounded up 208 team points to win the conference championship.

The Blue Raiders top scores came in three events where Jaylun Wallace won the 400-meter dash with a time of forty-eight point thirty-seven seconds for first-team all-conference honors, 10 points, and a "B" standard. Jelle Golbach recorded 10 points for the Blue Raiders when he won the High Jump for the Blue Raiders jumping for 1.95 meters, tying Justin Borden who finished second, earning the Blue Raiders 18 points from the event and first and second-team all-conference honors. Lastly, Elias Foor gave the Blue Raiders 10 more points winning the Discus throw, launching for 46.51 meters. The distance earned Foor a new program record and first-team all-conference honors.

In other events around the track today, Ahumad Williams finished second in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 14.82, bringing home eight points for the Blue Raiders and earning second-team all-conference honors and a "B" standard. In the 400-meter hurdles, Wallace took third with a time of 59.30 earning third-team all-conference honors and six points for the Blue Raiders.

In the 4x100 meter relay, Tyler Greenwell, Brenden Parham, JeVon Leavell, and Josiah Harris all took home third-team all-conference honors after finishing third with a time of 42.69, earning the Blue Raiders six points. In the 1500-meter run, Mike Schonter finished fifth with a time of 4:02.35 while also finishing fourth in the 800-meter run with a time of 1:59.14. Greenwell also finished fifth in the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.22.

John Rowe took third in the Decathlon with 4,118 points while Hunter Wethington finished fourth with 4,030 points earning the Blue Raiders 11 total points from the event.

In the remaining field events, Foor finished second in the Shot-Put competition, throwing for 15.25 meters while Austin Campbell finished third, throwing for 14.80 meters, earning both second and third-team all-conference honors and a combined 14 points. In the Triple Jump, Borden finished fourth, jumping for 13.55 meters and five points.

In the final event of the afternoon, Josiah Harris, Devon Hall, K'ron Sherald, and Wallace won the 4x400 meter relay to secure the championship and win the fifth conference championship in program history.

The Blue Raiders return to action in the Billy Hayes Invitational on April 30th.
