GULF SHORES, Ala. – The Lindsey Wilson men and women's track and field team completed the final day of competition at the NAIA National Championship on Friday. The women finished in 26th place as the men took 69th in the 102-team field.
Jaylun Wallace highlighted the final day of competition in the 400-meter dash. He raced his way to a sixth-place finish with a time of 47.95 seconds. The result was good enough to earn him NAIA All-American honors.
Laila Hardin also picked up NAIA All-American honors, doing so in the 400-meter hurdles. She crossed the finish line in 1:02.75 to earn seventh place.
Levi Owens took part in the 3,000-meter steeplechase where he finished in 10:07.91. He ran to a 15th place finish in the 18-man field.
With the conclusion of the NAIA National Championship, the Blue Raider men and women's track and field season has ended.
