MURRAY, Ky. – The Lindsey Wilson men's track and field team continued their outdoor season this weekend as they finished 10th with 30 total points in the Margaret Simmons Invitational hosted by Murray State.

In the track events, Edwin Van Wyk got things started when he finished fourth in the 100-meter dash with a time of ten point ninety-four seconds for five points.

Jaylun Wallace kept the top-five finishes coming for the Blue Raiders as he also placed fourth in the 400-meter run with a time of 50.88 for six points.

Nolan Foushee picked up a point in the 800-meter run after finishing in eighth with a time of 2:00.27.

In the relays, the Blue Raiders claimed seventh in the 4x100 meter event with a time of 43.70 for two points while in the 4x400 meter relay, the Blue Raiders collected their best points finish of the afternoon scoring eight after placing second with a time of 3:44.65.

Justin Borden collected the final eight points of the night for the Blue Raiders after placing fifth in both the high jump and long jump with a leap of 1.95 meters and 6.78 meters, respectively.

The Blue Raiders will continue their outdoor season on April 2 when they travel to Bowling Green, Kentucky for the WKU Invite hosted by Western Kentucky University.
