DANVILLE, Ky. – The Lindsey Wlson men's indoor track & field team earned a third-place finish at the Centre Indoor Showcase Saturday.
The Blue Raiders tallied 106.5 points with one win and four runner-up finishes.
Lindsey Wilson took the first five spots in the 800-meter run led by
Nolan Foushee who won the event with a time of 2:03.34.
Justin Stearns finished second in 2:03.89,
Marti Molins was third finishing in 2:04.33.
Logan Bullock (2:06.00) and
Daniel Aikas (2:06.20) finished fourth and fifth, respectively.
Foushee finished second in the mile with a time of 4:29.79 while Stearns was third with a time of 4:29.86.
K'ron Sherald finished runner-up in the 400 finishing with a time of 51.47 while
Royce Mentor was one spot behind finishing in 51.90.
Mentor,
David Requejo, Sherald and
Luke Birdsong teamed up in the 4x400 relay and finished second with a time of 3:34.72.
Marcus Abel finished sixth in the 1,000 while Santiago Nunez was sixth in the 3,000.
Mark Edmond finished second in both the triple jump and the high jump. Edmond finished with a distance of 13.71 meters in the triple jump and 1.95 meters in the high jump.
Dyse Harding finished third in the triple jump (13.52 meters) and was tied for sixth in the high jump (1.85 meters).
Justin Borden finished sixth in the long jump and eighth in the high jump while
Summy Manirakiza was eighth in the long jump.
The Blue Raiders are back in action on Feb. 10 when they return to Centre for the Centre Indoor Invite.
