COLUMBIA, Ky. – The Blue Raider junior varsity volleyball team split a pair of matches earlier this week, dropping a four-set decision to Trevecca Nazarene (Tenn.) on Tuesday before bouncing back to knock off Campbellsville (Ky.) on the road on Thursday.

Against the Trojans, Lindsey Wilson tied the match at one after falling in the first set but lost ground to the visitors who ultimately pulled away to win the third and fourth sets.

Ahalia Rameriz – 28 assists and 10 digs -- and Natalie Wandrie – 15 kills and 11 digs -- each turned in double-doubles, and Haleigh Wood led the Blue Raiders' back line with a season-high 24 digs.

Gracie Friedrich added eight kills to a Lindsey Wilson offense that hit .159 and tallied eight service aces.

In Thursday's "Highway Battle, the Blue Raiders extended their winning streak versus Campbellsville to three matches. Lindsey Wilson topped the Tigers 25-19 in the first frame, then fell to the same score in the second. A solid .227 attack percentage during the tie-breaker helped the Blue Raiders put their rival away, 15-8.

Wandrie paced Lindsey Wilson with 13 kills, Friedrich chipped in six kills and two solo blocks, and Baleigh Young contributed four kills.

Ramirez dished out 22 assists to go with two aces, and Wood produced 11 digs and a team-best three aces.

The week's results improve Lindsey Wilson's overall record to 9-3 and maintains its perfect mark on the road.

The Blue Raiders return home to host Cumberland (Tenn.) at 5 p.m. CST on Tuesday, October 22.
