DANVILLE, KY. - The Lindsey Wilson men's track and field team took fourth place at the Centre Invite on Saturday at the Andy Frye Stadium.

The invitational featured 11 teams. The Blue Raiders totaled 90.50 points to claim fourth place overall. Across all events, they managed to collect three wins. 

In the 4x100 Meter Relay Kelvion Wilson, David Requejo, Trey Blanton, and DeAnglo Patterson registered a time of 42.84 to claim the top spot on the podium. Requejo, with a 50.82 time, won the 400 Meter Dash.

In the Long Jump event, senior Justin Borden grabbed the win with a mark of 6.97m. Two fellow Blue Raiders accompanied him on the podium, Mark Edmond and Robert Dyer. 

Patterson obtained points by earning fourth place in the 100-meter run with a time of 11.02. Justin Stearns also got fourth in the 800-meter run registering a 1:55.83. 

In the Triple Jump with a 13.11m mark, Robert Dyer placed fourth. Luis Groff, Edmond, and Borden all registered a 1.90m mark in the High Jump.

The Blue Raiders will compete next on April 7 at the Brescia Bearcat Invite in Owensboro, Ky.
