COLUMBIA, Ky. – The Lindsey Wilson men's soccer team moved up one spot to No. 2 in the third NAIA Men's Soccer Top 25 Coaches' Poll, the national office announced Wednesday.

This marks the Blue Raiders' highest ranking since September 23, 2014, when Lindsey Wilson was ranked No. 1. Lindsey Wilson garnered 488 points in the poll and eight of the 18 first-place votes. The Blue Raiders are just 10 points behind No. 1 Dalton State (Ga.), who earned the other 10 first-place votes.

Lindsey Wilson is 8-0-1 this season and 2-0 in Mid-South Conference play. The Blue Raiders are outscoring their opponents 26-4 this season and have allowed just one second-half goal. Lindsey Wilson has recorded five shutouts this season and three in its last five games.

The Blue Raiders face a pair of top 15 teams before the next poll comes out on October 15. Lindsey Wilson hosts No. 14 Cumberland (Tenn.) on Wednesday and travels to No. 8 Cumberlands (Ky.) on October 9.

Bethel (Tenn.) also represents the MSC in the top 25. The Wildcats garnered 55 points and are slotted 24th.

Oklahoma Wesleyan is third in the poll with 462 points while MidAmerica Nazarene (Kan.) and Bethel (Ind.) round out the top five with 448 and 432 points, respectively.
