Track and Field Begins Competition at NAIA National Championships Wednesday

COLUMBIA, Ky. – The 2025 NAIA Outdoor Track and Field National Championships get underway on Wednesday at the Wildcat Track & Field Complex in Marion, Indiana. Twenty Blue Raider student-athletes are set to represent Lindsey Wilson over the three-day event.

The women's 4x100-meter relay of Kayly Guthrie, Hannah Reid, Jermani Morris, Jozlen Brisbon, Isabel Urrutia Lemus, and Rosemond Owusu take the track first on Wednesday at 2 p.m. CT. Lindsey Wilson is seeded seventh in the event.

Justin Stearns competes in the 1,500-meter run on Wednesday at 3:10 p.m. CT. Stearns' time of 3:52.05 has him seeded 20th in the event. Guthrie and Reid compete in the 200-meter dash on Wednesday at 4:20 p.m. CT.  Reid is seeded 12th while Guthrie is seeded 14th.

Lemus will start the action on Thursday in the 100-meter hurdles at 1 p.m. CT. She is seeded 15th. Tremaine Browne and Maxwell Wordui compete in the long jump at 1:30 p.m. CT. Wordui is seeded first while Browne is seeded 13th. Guthrie will compete in the 100-meter dash at 2:20 p.m. CT and is seeded 13th.

Cambell Rawlings runs in the 100-meter dash at 2:40 p.m. CT and is seeded 16th. Reid competes in the 400-meter at 3 p.m. CT and comes into the event seeded sixth. Daniel Otibo competes in the 400 at 3:20 p.m. CT and is seeded 12th. Eliza Hagens competes in the 5,000-meter racewalk at 3:45 p.m. CT and is seeded seventh.

The men's and women's 4x400-meter relays close out action on Thursday. The women's team of Ta'shya Cramer, Guthrie, Sancia Smith, Reid, Owusu, Lemus, Brizbon, and Morris compete at 7:15 p.m. CT.  The men's team of Royce Mentor, Enric Fernandez, Miah Chatmond, Otibo, Demarcus Robertson, Rawlings, and Luke Birdsong compete at 7:45 p.m. CT
.
Browne and Lorenzo Luces compete in the triple jump on Friday at 12:30 p.m. CT. Browne is seeded fifth while Luces is 13th in the event. Owusu competes in the triple jump on Friday at 1 p.m. CT. She is seeded sixth in the event.
