Nathalie Medina is the Mid-South Conference women's Swimmer of the Week, league officials announced Monday.
The sophomore, of Caracas, Venezuela, earns weekly honors for the first time in her career and is the third different Blue Raider to collect the award this season as she joins teammates
Natalia Gorska (September 29) and
Kirsten de Goede (November 10).
Medina collected four wins for Lindsey Wilson during the Blue Raiders dual with Tennessee Southern on Saturday.
She captured the 200 individual medley, the 1,000 freestyle, and the 200 butterfly with an NAIA provisional standard time of 2:14.08. Medina also anchored the Blue Raiders' victorious 400 freestyle relay.
Nathalie and her Lindsey Wilson teammates are home for the final time this season on Saturday, January 24 to host the Highway 55 Last Chance Invitational at the Holloway Natatorium.
