COLUMBIA, Ky. – The Lindsey Wilson men's track and field team is ranked No. 19 in the latest NAIA Men's Indoor Track & Field Rating Index released by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.

The Blue Raiders earned 60.65 total points, all from individual performances, marking a move up two spots in the national rankings. Lindsey Wilson is one of the top programs in the Mid-South Conference, joining Cumberlands (Ky.), who lead the conference nationally with 273.24 points.

Lindsey Wilson featured several strong performances at the Eastern Indoors. Cambell Rawlings won the 60 meters in 6.73 to meet the NAIA "A" standard and also claimed the 200 meters in 21.55 for the "B" standard. Daniel Otibo set a new school record in the 400 meters with a time of 47.56 while also meeting the NAIA "A" standard. In the field, Janer Caicedo Campaz cleared 2.00 meters in the high jump, while Jayden Wentz and Lorenzo Luces posted top marks in the triple jump. The 4x400-meter relay teams also contributed to the team's scoring, highlighted by a first-place finish of 3:24.10.

The Blue Raiders return to action Tuesday, Feb. 17, in Louisville, Kentucky for the Mid-South Conference Championships inside the Norton Healthcare Sports & Learning Center.
