Claire Fleming has been named to the 2026 Mid-South Conference women's basketball Champions of Character Team, officials announced Thursday.
The Junior, of Red Boiling Springs, Kentucky, collects Champions of Character recognition for the first time in her career and is the sixth player all-time in program history to garner the honor.
The Mid-South recognizes a Champions of Character Team for each championship sport. The student-athletes who are honored on the Champions of Character Team were nominated by their coaches based on their leadership on campus and in the community while demonstrating the five core character values of the NAIA.
Bethel's (Tenn.) Adalyn Koelling, Campbellsville's (Ky.) Paige Serafini, Cumberland's (Tenn.) Maddie Brillhart, Cumberlands' (Ky. ), Lakin Burke, Freed-Hardeman's (Tenn.) Julieth Rivera-Morales, and Georgetown's (Ky.) Adessa Miller earned the honor.
Fleming and her Blue Raider teammates begin their postseason run at 7:30 p.m. CST on Friday, February 27, against the Cumberlands (Ky.) in the Mid-South Conference tournament quarterfinals at Bowling Green High School Arena in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
