COLUMBIA, Ky. - The NAIA Women's Golf National Championship returns to Eagle Crest Golf Course in Ypsilanti, Michigan for the second year in a row, May 19-22.
15th-ranked Lindsey Wilson makes its 12th all-time appearance at the national tournament. The Blue Raiders have posted back-to-back ninth-place finishes over the last two years, including a program-best four-round score of plus-71 last season.
Tara Laverty,
Kayla Saunders, and
Holly Murphy were each a part of Lindsey Wilson's national tournament team in 2025. Laverty, the medalist of the Lindsey Wilson Spring Invitational on March 21, placed 64th, followed by Murphy in 65th.
Saunders, this season's Mid-South Conference individual tournament medalist, finished 70th. The junior enters the week averaging a team-low score per round of 77.1 and is ranked 48th nationally according to Clippd Scoreboard's NAIA ratings.
Thanaporn Buakong -- ranked 77th -- holds four top-10 finishes this season as she sports an average score of 78.3.
Lindsey Wilson's best performance at the NAIA National Championship came back in 2007 when the Blue Raiders ended in second place.
This time around, Lindsey Wilson tees off at 7:40 a.m. CT on Tuesday, May 19, followed by the second round at 1:10 p.m. CT on Wednesday, May 20.
