COLUMBIA, Ky. – Junior outside hitter Luisina Sandrone Tais turned in a career-best week for Lindsey Wilson volleyball, earning her first Mid-South Conference Attacker of the Week honor this season, the league announced Monday.

Sandrone Tais averaged 4.3 kills per set and posted a .295 attacking percentage across three matches last week. She recorded double-digit kills in each match, totaling 51 kills while adding 31 digs, six service aces, seven assists and four blocks as the Blue Raiders went 2-1.

The junior produced three career highs during the week. Against Blue Mountain Christian (Miss.), Sandrone Tais recorded a career-best 19 kills and three blocks while adding 12 digs in Lindsey Wilson's four-set victory. She later posted a career-high 14 digs against Fisk (Tenn.).

Sandrone Tais currently ranks second in the Mid-South Conference with 200 kills on the season. Her 51 kills during the week helped strengthen the Blue Raiders' offensive attack, while her contributions in the back row and at the service line added to her all-around performance.

Sandrone Tais and the Blue Raiders return to action at 6 p.m. CT Tuesday, Sept. 15, against No. 10 Cumberlands (Ky.) in Williamsburg, Ky.
