Box Score MOBILE, Ala. -- The Lindsey Wilson College women's tennis team advanced to the quarterfinals of NAIA Women's Tennis National Championship today with a 5-3 win over Savannah College of Arts & Design at the Mobile Tennis Center.
The fifth-seeded Blue Raiders (22-2) will meet fourth-seeded Southern Nazarene (Okla.) University at 9 a.m. CT on Wednesday, with the winner to advance to the national semifinals.
The Blue Raiders led SCAD (13-6) 2-1 following doubles play.
Lindsey Wilson freshmen Natalia Yakimovich and Fadzai Mawisire won 8-6 at No. 1 doubles to lead the Blue Raiders into the 2-1 lead.

Candela Castanon won at No. 1 singles over SCAD's Chole Lipp 6-3, 6-3 to lead the Blue Raiders in singles. Yakimovich and Mawisire also won in singles to help the Blue Raiders advance to the next round.
The Blue Raiders will face Southern Nazarene (20-0) for the second consecutive year in the national tournament. SNU defeated Lindsey Wilson last year 5-4 in the tournament's first round.
