RIO GRANDE, Ohio -- The top-ranked Lindsey Wilson College women's soccer team won its seventh straight game on Thursday with an 11-0 win over host University of Rio Grande (Ohio).

The Blue Raiders improve to 11-2-1 overall and 4-0 in the Mid-South Conference. Rio Grande falls to 1-10-1 and 0-5 in conference play.

Lindsey Wilson sophomore Diana Da Rocha scored the first two goals in the game's first six minutes to give the Blue Raiders an early 2-0 lead. Lindsey Wilson freshman Rebecca Bjorkvall and sophomore Heini Metsola scored the first of her two goals on the day added goals in the first half to give the Blue Raiders the 4-0 lead at the break.

Following the break, seven different Blue Raiders scored goals en route to LWC's 11-0 win.

Lindsey Wilson returns to action at 5 p.m. CT on Tuesday, Oct. 20, as the Blue Raiders travel to Georgetown (Ky.) College.
