PULASKI, Tenn. – The No. 12-ranked Lindsey Wilson women's soccer team fell 3-2 to (RV) Tennessee Southern Tuesday night at Grissom Pitch.

Ashiat Naluggwa opened the scoring in the sixth minute to give Lindsey Wilson a 1-0 lead.
Ashanti Lewis hooked up with Kamilia Tayebi in the 35th minute to deliver the Firehawks equalizer, knotting it up at 1-1. A Blue Raiders foul gave Tennessee Southern a penalty in the final minute of the first half, which Millie Rayner converted to give Firehawks a 2-1 lead heading into the break.
Tennessee Southern (6-1-1) extended its lead to 3-1 after halftime when Riho Masuya scored off an assist by Mia Saum.

Norka Fergusson to help the Blue Raiders pull within a goal at 3-2.
Lindsey Wilson (5-2-1) spent the rest of the match searching for the game-tying score. The Blue Raiders' best chance came in the 85th minute when
Ona Monserrat Baca was on the offensive breakaway and fired a right footed shot that the Tennessee Southern's keeper was able to redirect for a save. Lindsey Wilson was unable to secure the illusive third goal, dropping the 3-2 decision to the Firehawks.
