MONTGOMERY, Ala. -- The fourth ranked Lindsey Wilson College men's soccer team won its fourth consecutive game Saturday, 1-0, against 16th ranked Auburn (Ala.) University Montgomery at the AUM Soccer Complex.
Blue Raider sophomore forward Moses Aduny netted the game-winning goal in the 26th minute off of an assist from freshman forward Chris Ochieng.
The score was Aduny's fourth goal of the season, while Ochieng tallied the third assist of his young career.
Lindsey Wilson dominated the offensive opportunities, taking 16 shots compared to just three for the Senators.
Blue Raider freshman keeper Callum Christie finished the contest with one save.
With the win, Lindsey Wilson improves to 6-1-0 on the season, while Auburn Montgomery falls to 6-2-2.
The Blue Raiders host two consecutive home games starting at 7 p.m. CT on Oct. 7 against Mid-South Conference-foe University (Ky.) of the Cumberlands in the second game of a doubleheader with the women's program. The squad returns at 7 p.m. on Oct. 9 against Embry-Riddle (Ariz.).
