COLUMBIA, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College women's tennis team defeated the Indiana Institute of Technology today 8-1 today at the Lindsey Wilson Tennis Courts.

Lindsey Wilson (2-0) won the singles matches 5-1 and went 3-0 in the doubles matches.

Junior Jessica Weyreuter, sophomore Darya Yablonskaya, and junior Agneiszka Wojtowicz all won their matches 6-0, 6-0. Freshman Trina Slapeka won 6-0, 6-2 and junior Lindsey Sheene survived a 6-3, 6-3 match to get the victory.

In the doubles matches, Slapeka and Weyreuter cruised to an 8-1 victory. Yablonskaya and Wojtowicz won also won 8-2 and freshman Brittany Meece and Sheen held on for the win 8-4.

Indiana Tech's lone win came from Laura Bertsch who defeated Meece 6-4, 7-5 in a singles match.
