Box Score OWENSBORO, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College women's tennis team won its sixth match of the season defeating Brescia (Ky.) University today 9-0 in Owensboro, Ky.
Lindsey Wilson (6-4, 2-0 in the Mid-South Conference) swept the singles matches 6-0 and the doubles matches 3-0.
Junior Jessica Weyreuter -- the reigning MSC Player of the Week - won her match fourth straight singles match over Miranda Pendley 6-0, 6-0.
Freshmen Trina Slapeka and Vanja Tomic along with sophomore Darya Yablonskaya, and juniors Agneiszka Wojtowicz and Lindsey Sheene did not drop a game winning all of their matches 6-0, 6-0.
In the doubles matches, Weyreuter and Tomic defeated Skaggs and Pendley 8-2 in the number one match. Slapeka and Yablonskaya and Wojtowicz and Sheene both won in shutouts 8-0.
The Blue Raiders have won four straight matches and haven't lost in over two weeks.
Lindsey Wilson returns to action on Wednesday, April 22, as the Blue Raiders host Georgetown (Ky.) College at the Lindsey Wilson Tennis Courts.
