Box Score GEORGETOWN, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College women's tennis team swept Campbellsville (Ky.) University 5-0 today in the semi-finals of the Mid-South Conference Tournament.
Freshman Trina Slapeka (6-0, 6-0) and junior Jessica Weyreuter (6-0, 6-0) both won in straight sets giving the Blue Raiders a 2-0 lead before doubles play.
In the doubles matches, Weyreuter and freshman Vanja Tomic won 8-1 in the number one match. Slapeka and sophomore Darya Yablonskaya cruised 8-1 and juniors Agneiszka Wojtowicz and Lindsey Sheene rolled with an 8-0 victory.
The match was called when the score reached 5-0 as a mercy rule.
Lindsey Wilson advances to the MSC Championship match against No. 2-seeded Georgetown (Ky.) College later this afternoon in Georgetown, Ky.
