LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College women's tennis team earned an automatic bid into the NAIA National Championships today with a win over Indiana University Southeast in an unaffiliated group championship.

No. 11-ranked Lindsey Wilson beat IU Southeast 5-0 to win its eighth straight match heading into the national tournament which begins May 12-16 at the Mobile Tennis Center in Mobile, Ala.

The Blue Raiders won the Mid-South Conference and Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference unaffiliated group that featured the two champions from each conference. The two conferences were paired together after not meeting the minimum number of six institutions to sponsor the sport in order to direct qualify from the conference tournament.

Lindsey Wilson won the MSC Tournament on Saturday, April 25 with a 6-2 win over Georgetown College.
