Box Score BRISTOL, Tenn. -- Lindsey Wilson College freshman midfielder Saeda Sueki scored her first three career goals for a hat trick in the third ranked Blue Raiders' 5-1 win against NCAA Division II provisional member King (Tenn.) College on Wednesday.
Sueki, typically a late-game reserve for the Blue Raiders, entered the contest without a point in four appearances. The freshman now claims three goals for six points on the season while registering the current squad's first hat trick.
The Sakura, Japan native was a perfect 3-for-3 on shots, scoring goals in the 24th, 28th and 82nd minutes. Lindsey Wilson junior midfielder Caitlin Burke added her first goal of the season in the 50th minute, while freshman forard Rebecca Bjorkvall scored her second of the season in the 80th minute.
Lindsey Wilson led 5-0 near the end of the game before King's Emma Wells slipped a goal past Blue Raider senior keeper Carrie Revlett in the 86th minute.
Revlett finished the game with five saves, only allowing the one late goal. King goalkeeper Lauren Fritts secured four saves while giving up five goals against.
Lindsey Wilson improves to 6-2-1 after five wins and a tie in its last six games.
The Blue Raiders open conference play at 5 p.m. CT on Sept. 29 against Campbellsville (Ky.) University in the first game of a doubleheader with the men's team at Walter S. Reuling Stadium.
