Box Score CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. -- The 15th ranked Lindsey Wilson College women's tennis team split the singles matches at Campbellsville (Ky.) University on Wednesday, but put together a sweep of all three doubles matches to earn the 6-3 win.
Trina Slapeka and Jessica Weyreuter won the No. 1 doubles match 8-2 against Anita Henostrosa and Stacy Drew, while the No. 2 pair of Slavica Milanovic and Agnieszka Wojtowicz defeated Meredith Coffey and Melanie Jones 8-1. Marian Pacifico and Lindsey Sheene also recorded an 8-1 win at No. 3 doubles against Brittany Price and Maria Gomez.
Henestrosa put the Tigers on the board with a win at No. 1 singles against Slapeka 6-2, 7-5. Campbellsville also recorded wins at No. 5 and No. 6 singles as Price defeated Sheene 6-4, 6-3 and Gomez defeated Phillips 6-2, 6-1.
Weyreuter helped Lindsey Wilson gain an advantage with a 6-0, 6-0 win over Drew at No. 2 singles, while Pacifico routed Jones 6-1, 6-1 at No. 4.
Wojtowicz won the deciding match for the Blue Raiders, beating Coffey 6-2, 6-0 at No. 3 singles.
Lindsey Wilson returns to action at 1 p.m. CT on Thursday, April 8 against Union (Ky.) College at the Lindsey Wilson tennis courts.
