MONTGOMERY, Ala. -- The Lindsey Wilson College women's tennis team dropped its first two games of the season at the Auburn University Montgomery Invitational over the weekend.

After winning its opener over No. 24-ranked Xavier (La.) University 5-1 on Friday, Lindsey Wilson dropped a 6-0 decision to No. 2-ranked and host AUM on Saturday.

The No. 13-ranked Blue Raiders concluded the three-day event with a 5-4 loss to No. 18-ranked William Carey (Miss.) University on Sunday.

With its weekend play, the Blue Raiders fall to 3-2 overall on the season.

Lindsey Wilson returns to action on Tuesday, March 22, as the Blue Raiders host Georgetown in their Mid-South Conference opener at Henry Baughman Tennis Complex.
