The No. 16-ranked Blue Raiders (5-3) won all nine points en route to improving to 2-0 in the MSC this season. Shawnee State falls to 1-3 overall and 0-1 in the MSC with the loss.
Lindsey Wilson's Trina Slapeka and Slavica Milanovic were perfect on the day pairing to win at the top doubles spot 8-0 over Jamee Boyd and Kyra Keaton. Slapeka and Milanovic also won their singles matches without dropping a game.
Slapeka defeated Boyd and Milanovic beat Keaton by identical scores of 6-0, 6-0.
Lindsey Wilson's Laura Vergara paired with Rocio Cardo to win at No. 2 doubles 8-1 and Vergara defeated Angie Schmitt at No. 3 singles 6-0, 6-0.
Lindsey Wilson's Cardo, Edel Ferri and Ashley Phillips each added straight set wins in singles to help the Blue Raiders to the 9-0 win.
Lindsey Wilson returns to action at 1 p.m. CT on Tuesday, March 29, as the Blue Raiders travel to the University of the Cumberlands (Ky.) in Williamsburg, Ky.
