The Blue Raiders (8-4) won all three doubles points en route to a 7-2 win over visiting Tennessee Wesleyan College on Thursday at Henry Baughman Tennis Complex. The win is Lindsey Wilson's third straight by at least a four-point advantage.
Lindsey Wilson's Laura Vergara and Edelmira were involved in the closest doubles match in an 8-4 win over Laura Spellacy and Meghan Whaley in the No. 2 doubles match.
Trina Slapeka and Slavica Milanovic improves to 9-3 on the season in doubles play with their 8-1 win over Beatriz Signoni and Zolzaya Enhkbat in the top doubles match, while Ashley Phillips and Rocio Cardo moves to 2-3 this season as a tandem following an 8-3 win over Alli Smith and Spencer Creekmore at the third doubles match.
The Blue Raiders continued their dominance in singles play winning four of the six matches.
Slapeka improves to 10-2 at the top singles with a 6-2, 6-0 win over Signoni while Vergara moves to 11-1 this season in singles play with a 6-0, 6-1 win over Spellacy.
Phillips produced the comeback of the match beating Creekmore 2-6, 6-0, 10-4.
Lindsey Wilson returns to action at 12:30 p.m. CT on Sunday, April 10, as the Blue Raiders host Union (Ky.) College at Henry Baughman Tennis Complex.
