COLUMBIA, Ky. -- No. 4-ranked Lindsey Wilson made quick work of short-handed Pikeville (Ky.) today, winning 9-0 at Henry Baughman Tennis Complex.

Playing with just three players, UPike was forced to default three singles and two doubles matches to hand the Blue Raiders (4-2, 2-0 in the Mid-South) the win before the first serve.

Playing out the matches, Lindsey Wilson did not drop a set to complete the 9-0 win and remain atop the Mid-South standings.

Slavica Milanovic and Sarah Bernos won the only doubles match played 8-0 over Pikeville's Danielle Clark and Shae Criswell to extend the Lindsey Wilson lead to 6-0.

It was a trio of 6-0, 6-0 wins for reigning MSC Women's Tennis Player of the Week Alejandra Galvis, Laura Vergara and Anna Gaprindashvili to complete the sweep.

Lindsey Wilson returns to action at 3 p.m. CT on Tuesday, March 19 as the Blue Raiders face Bluefield (Va.) in Georgetown, Ky.
