GEORGETOWN, Ky. – No. 5 Lindsey Wilson and Bluefield (Va.) met in Georgetown, Ky., for their Mid-South Conference tennis match and the Blue Raiders earned a 6-0 win in a hurry, losing just two games in doubles on the day.

The Rams played with just five players, giving the Blue Raiders a default win at No. 6 singles and No. 3 doubles from the start.

In the other two doubles win, Slavica Milanovic and Sarah Bernos teamed up at No. 1 for an 8-2 win against Leslie Williams and Erika Cregger, while Laura Vergara and Rocio Cardo won 8-0 at No. 2 against Alison Morgan and Caitlin Allen.

Only two of the singles matches were played to completion as Vergara topped Allen 6-0, 6-0 at No. 3 and fifth-seeded Anna Gaprindashvili cruised to the same score against Casey Germain.

Wednesday's match at Campbellsville (Ky.) has been postponed until a later date, leaving the next scheduled match as Northwestern Ohio at 2 p.m. CT on Friday at the Henry Baughman Tennis Complex.
