COLUMBIA, Ky. – No. 5 Lindsey Wilson didn't drop a match as it rolled to a 9-0 win against Northwestern Ohio in women's tennis action on Friday at the Henry Baughman Tennis Complex.

Every match but one was won in straight sets for the Blue Raiders (6-2) as second-seeded Slavica Milanovic needed three sets to beat Shaleigh McClintock 7-5, 4-6, 6-0.

Lindsey Wilson opened the match with a sweep of the doubles points to take a 3-0 lead. Milanovic and Sarah Bernos teamed at No.1 to top McClintock and Shaye Warman 8-0, while third-seeded Alejandra Galvis and Anna Gaprindashvili also won in a shutout against Andrea Arango and Lina Ramos.

No. 2 seeded Laura Vergara and Rocio Cardo were 8-1 winners against Jess Stambaugh and Makenzie Klock.

The other five singles matches went by easily for Lindsey Wilson as the top-seeded Galvis got things rolling with a 6-0, 6-1 win against Aranga. Vergara impressed at No. 3 as well, beating Warman 6-0, 6-1.

Bernos lost just one game in each set at No. 4 to top Stambaugh 6-1, 6-1 and Gaprindashvili topped Ramos 6-2, 6-0 at No. 5.

In the final sixth-seeded singles match, Gerlakh took care of Klock for a 6-0, 6-4 win.

Lindsey Wilson plays again at 2 p.m. CT on Wednesday at home against Georgetown (Ky.)
