PORTSMOUTH, Ohio -- No. 5-ranked Lindsey Wilson women's tennis captured the Mid-South Conference regular season title today with a 9-0 sweep of host Shawnee State (Ohio).

The Blue Raiders earn the top seed in the MSC Tournament that begins next week.

All three Lindsey Wilson (14-2, 9-0 in the MSC) doubles teams registered 8-0 wins to grab an early 3-0 lead over the Bears (4-6, 3-6).

Lindsey Wilson proved to be just as dominant in singles play as five Blue Raiders won 6-0, 6-0 and the final point came in a 6-1, 6-0 win.

Today's win concluded the regular season for the Blue Raiders.

Lindsey Wilson will host the Mid-South Conference Tournament quarterfinal match against the tournament's No. 8 seed next week. The tournament field has yet to be determined.
