COLUMBIA, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson women's tennis team defeated Shawnee State (Ohio) University 9-0 and University of Pikeville (Ky.) 9-0 on Sunday afternoon at the Henry Baughman Tennis Complex.

Lindsey Wilson (5-4, 4-0 MSC) swept the double's matches against Shawnee State as No. 1 Sarah Bernos and Anna Gaprindashvili beat Kyra Keaton and Karley Stites 8-1. No. 2 Jessica King and Ana Helena Pinto defeated Shelbie Wulfkamp and Brianna Boggs 8-0 while No. 3 Alicia Rodriguez and Diana Gerlakh defeated Aubrey Johnson and Abbi Morrow 8-0.

In singles, the Blue Raiders won all six singles matches by a score of 8-0. No. 1 Bernos defeated Kyra Keaton, No. 2 Rodriguez defeated Wulfkamp, No. 3 King defeated Stites, No. 4 Gaprindashvili defeated Boggs, No. 5 Pinto defeated Carmen Staton and No. 6 Gerlakh defeated Morrow.

Lindsey Wilson swept the double's matches against Pikeville with No. 1 Bernos and Gaprindashvili defeating Sami Mounia and Thais Bezerra 8-2 and No. 2 Pinto and King defeating Kara Griswell and Michaela Hyden 8-0.

In singles, No. 1 Bernos defeated Mounia 8-1 while No. 2 Rodriguez defeated Bezerra 8-0. No. 3 Gaprindashvili beat Griswell 8-0 and No. 4 Gerlakh defeated Hyden 8-0.

The Blue Raiders return to the court on Wednesday, April 2 as Lindsey Wilson hosts University of the Cumberlands (Ky.) at the Henry Baughman Tennis Complex at 2 p.m. CT.
