ST. CATHARINE, Ky. -- The No. 3 Lindsey Wilson women's tennis team defeated St. Catharine (Ky.) College 5-0 in the final regular season Mid-South Conference match of the season.

Lindsey Wilson (12-4, 8-0 MSC) cruised in its 5-0 win over the Patriots. The double teams of Sarah Bernos and Anna Gaprindashvili as well as Jessica King and Alicia Rodriguez were the only matches to hit the court on Monday.

Bernos and Gaprindashvili defeated Brittany Taylor and Sarah Pascoe 8-0 in No. 1 doubles while King and Rodriguez won 8-0 over Shelby Rush and Chelsea Landrum at No. 2 doubles. Bernos and Gaprindashvili move to 6-0 this season including a 4-0 MSC record. At No. 3 doubles, Alejandra Galvis and Ana Helena Pinto won by default.

Pinto and Diana Gerlakh both won by default at the No. 5 and No. 6 singles position to give the Blue Raiders a 5-0 win over St. Catharine.

The Blue Raiders improve to 64-0 in singles and doubles matches this season in the MSC. It is the first time since 2007 that the Blue Raiders went undefeated in singles and doubles matches during the regular season. They finished the 2007 MSC season 43-0.

Lindsey Wilson returns to the court on Thursday, April 24 in Georgetown, Ky. for the start of the MSC Women's Tennis Championships.
