Box Score

COLUMBIA, Ky. -- No. 4-ranked Lindsey Wilson women's tennis remained unbeaten in the Mid-South Conference with a 9-0 win over visiting Shawnee State (Ohio) today at Henry Baughman Tennis Complex.

The Blue Raiders (7-6, 3-0 in the MSC) dropped just one game over the entire match against the Bears (0-3, 0-3).

Lindsey Wilson opened the match with a 2-0 lead thanks to a Shawnee State forfeit at the third doubles match and the sixth singles match.

The Blue Raiders quickly increased their lead to 4-0 following an 8-1 win by Alicia Rodriguez and Jessica King in the top doubles match and an 8-0 win by Henar Munoz and Ana Helena Pinto at the No. 2-seeded match.

Needing just one singles match to claim the win, Diana Gerlakh defeated Mara McGee 6-0, 6-0 in the fifth-seeded singles match for the 5-0 lead.

Rodriguez, King, Munoz and Anna Gaprindashvili all won their singles match without dropping a game to secure the 9-0 win.

Lindsey Wilson returns to action at 2 p.m. CT on Monday, March 30, as the Blue Raiders host Georgetown (Ky.) at the Henry Baughman Tennis Complex.
