COLUMBIA, Ky. – The fourth-ranked Lindsey Wilson women's tennis team shut out visiting Cumberlands (Ky.) 9-0 on Sunday at the Henry Baughman Tennis Complex.

The Blue Raiders (2-5) dropped two points in the doubles matches and just 15 total points in the singles matches as they cruised to victory over the Patriots (1-4).

Jessica King and Alicia Rodriguez swept the top doubles position 8-0 over Isabella Dale and Erin Hart. Ana Helena Pinto and Anna Gaprindashvili followed with an 8-1 win over Kaylyn Collette and Victoria Sissoms at the No. 3 positions. The doubles sweep was completed at the No. 2 position as Henar Munoz and Fiona Curty won 8-1 over Chanel Williams and Sydni Grimes to make it 3-0 in the match.

Diana Gerlakh won at the No. 3 singles over Grimes 6-2, 6-0, and Munoz clinched the match with a 6-3, 6-1 win over Williams at the No. 2 position for the 5-0 lead.

The Blue Raiders won all four remaining singles contests including a 6-0, 6-0 sweep by Pinto at the No. 6 singles position.

Lindsey Wilson is back on the road for their next match when they head to NCAA Division I member Lipscomb (Tenn.) on Monday.
