COLUMBIA, Ky. – For the second time this season, Lindsey Wilson men's soccer suffered a setback in the NAIA Game of the Week. No. 6 Lindsey Wilson dropped a 3-1 decision to host and top-ranked Rio Grande (Ohio) tonight at Evan Davis Field.

Serge Gomis scored his fifth goal of the season midway into the second half. The shot was Lindsey Wilson's lone shot on goal during the game compared to Rio Grande's 10 on target. The RedStorm (10-0) finished the game with a 20-8 shots advantage for the game.

Patricio Arce scored the game's first goal in the 17th minute for the 1-0 lead. Rio Grande kept the one-goal advantage over the Blue Raiders (9-2) into the break.

Eduardo Zurita scored a pair of second-half goals for the RedStorm to push his team in front and ultimately to the win.

Lindsey Wilson's Yuta Nomura surrendered all three goals while snagging four saves. Rio Grande's Benjamin Martinez allowed one goal without collecting a save.

Lindsey Wilson returns to action at 7 p.m. CT on Tuesday, Sept. 29 as the Blue Raiders host Cumberlands (Ky.) at Walter S. Reuling Stadium.
