Box Score COLUMBIA, Ky. -- No. 2-ranked Lindsey Wilson women's tennis did not drop a game in a 9-0 win over Shawnee State (Ohio) today at the Henry Baughman Tennis Complex.
The Blue Raiders improve to 14-4 overall and 3-0 in the Mid-South Conference with the win. Lindsey Wilson has not lost to a NAIA school this season. Shawnee State falls to 3-5 and 1-1 in the conference play with the setback.
The Blue Raiders won all three doubles matches 8-0.
Maria Prados Cid and Fiona Curty claimed the win at the top-seeded match, Minja Gligic and Jovana Peric won in the second-seeded match and Alex Shchipakina and Natalia Kattah were victorious at three doubles.
Shchipakina and Gligic provided the first two singles wins, giving the Blue Raiders the five points necessary for the team win. Curty, Peric, Kattah and Gabriella Pedroza each won their respective matches to cap the 9-0 win.
Lindsey Wilson faces Cumberlands at 2 p.m. CT on Sunday at Henry Baughman Tennis Complex.
