LEBANON, Tenn. – The No. 6-ranked Lindsey Wilson men's soccer team falls to Cumberland (Tenn.) 1-0 on the road Sunday afternoon.

The Blue Raiders (10-2-1, 4-1-0 in the Mid-South Conference) take their first MSC loss of the season after falling to Cumberland on a late second-half goal.

The Blue Raiders were outshot 14-8. Out of the eight shots, LWC could manage only three on frame.

Karim Jouini led the Blue Raiders with two shots that were both on frame but could not find the back of the net. William Diaz finished the game with four saves.

The Phoenix (5-4-2, 4-0-0) recorded the game's only goal from the penalty box in the 84th minute off the foot of Sondre Risa. Risa's goal is his second of the season.

Daniel Williams led the attack with five shots and one on goal. The Phoenix had two other athletes with three shots each.

The Blue Raiders return to action against Shawnee State (Ohio) at 7 p.m. CT on October 26th, at Walter S. Reuling Stadium.
