Box Score MARIETTA, Ga. -- For just the second time this season, Lindsey Wilson men's soccer failed to score, falling to Life (Ga.) 1-0 on Tuesday at Lupo Family Field.
With the loss, Lindsey Wilson (9-3, 5-1 in the Mid-South Conference) falls from atop the MSC standings. Life improves to 8-3 overall and 5-0 in the Mid-South and is the lone unbeaten team in the conference this season.
Thierry Jules provided the lone goal of the night in the 34th minute and Life goalkeeper Fabian Pekruhl made the lead stand with two of his three saves coming in the final 10 minutes of the match.
The Blue Raiders struggled to find the target on the evening, finishing with just three shots on goal in their 13 shots. The Running Eagles ended the match out-shooting Lindsey Wilson 19-13 and 7-3 in shots on goal.
David Coffey recorded six saves in the setback.
Lindsey Wilson returns to action at 5 p.m. CT on Saturday, Oct. 26, as the Blue Raiders host Cumberlands (Ky.) in their regular-season home finale at Walter S. Reuling Stadium.
