Box Score COLUMBIA, Ky. -- Lindsey Wilson women's tennis remained perfect in the Mid-South Conference with a 7-2 win over visiting Campbellsville (Ky.) today at Henry Baughman Tennis Complex.
The Blue Raiders (4-1, 2-0 in the MSC) opened the match with a pair of wins -- one in doubles and one in singles -- after Campbellsville did not have a sixth player.
Lucia Mora and Steffi McDonald won the first competition of the day beating Alabina Zaganjor and Rebeca Scurt 8-2 in the second-seeded doubles match.
Campbellsville (6-4, 2-1) avoided the doubles sweep as Bolor Enkhbayar and Brenda Aguilar upset 17th-ranked Alexandra Parra and Lina Sachica 8-5 in the top doubles match.
Following Lindsey Wilson's default win in the singles match, Sachica -- ranked No. 29 in the NAIA -- extended the Blue Raiders' lead to 4-1 with a 6-2, 6-1 win over Enkhbayar in the second-seeded match.
McDonald closed out the team win for Lindsey Wilson with a 6-2, 6-4 win over Zaganjor in the third-seeded match.
Carla Alibert and Mora each picked up wins during singles play. Alibert dropped just one game in the fifth-seeded match while Mora won her match in a superset after splitting the first two sets.
Lindsey Wilson returns to action at 2 p.m. CT on Thursday, as the Blue Raiders host Georgetown (Ky.) at Baughman Tennis Complex.
