HARROGATE, Tenn. -- No. 11-ranked Lindsey Wilson women's tennis dropped its 2020 season opener with a 5-2 loss to Lincoln Memorial (Tenn.) today at the LMU Tennis Complex.

Lucia Mora and Parisa Rachdanone picked up singles wins for the Blue Raiders.

Lincoln Memorial opened the match taking the doubles point in the NAIA's new scoring system in 2020. The Railsplitters won two of the three doubles matches to take the 1-0 team lead.

Mora and Alexandra Parra claimed the only win in doubles for the Blue Raiders -- beating Anke Delisse and Julia Valls 6-4 in the top-seeded match.

Lincoln Memorial pushed its lead to 2-0 as Krissy Vogel defeated Carla Alibert 6-1, 6-3 in the fifth-seeded match.

Mora cut the deficit to 2-1 with a 6-1, 6-4 win over Kiersten Waugh in the third-seeded match.

LMU won the next three singles matches to take the team match. Rachdanone closed out the match with a 7-5, 6-1 win over Valls in the No. 2-seeded match.

Lindsey Wilson returns to action on Saturday, Feb. 22, as the Blue Raiders open up Mid-South Conference play at Shawnee State (Ohio) in Portsmouth, Ohio.
