COLUMBIA, Ky. -- Lindsey Wilson women's tennis kicked off their home slate with a 7-0 win over No. 22 Martin Methodist at the Henry Baughman Tennis Complex.

The No. 11-ranked Blue Raiders (2-1, 1-0 in the MSC) won the doubles point and all six singles matches.

Lindsey Wilson took all three matches in doubles play to secure the doubles point and a 1-0 lead. Sevval Ozseker and Emilia Allen secured the first doubles win with a 6-0 score. Alexandra Parra and Lucia Mora as well as Parisa Rachdanone and Carla Alibert teamed up for 6-1 wins over their counterparts.

Mora claimed the first singles win for the Blue Raiders with a 6-0, 6-0 win over Jenny Wilson in the third-seeded singles for the 2-0 lead. Parra then took down Michelle Blaha on a 7-5 (7-3), 6-2 victory in the top-seeded match for the 3-0 lead.

Ozseker clinched the team win with a 6-1, 6-0 win over Melanie Ponce in the fourth-seeded match.

Alibert, Allen and Rachdanone also picked up singles wins today.

Lindsey Wilson returns to action on Thursday, March 5, as the Blue Raiders host No. 12 LSU Alexandria at the Henry Baughman Tennis Complex.
