HARROGATE, Tenn. – The No. 16-ranked Lindsey Wilson women's tennis team picked up their first win of the season when they took down Lincoln Memorial (Tenn.) 5-2 on Sunday afternoon.

The Blue Raiders (1-1) dominated the single portion of the competition winning five of six matches but faltered in the doubles portion winning just one of three matches to give up the doubles point.

Lincoln Memorial won the first match of the day as Mae Fitzgerald defeated Yuno Oe 3-6, 6-0, 1-0 (10-3). No. 22 Alexandra Parra then got the Blue Raiders on the board with a 7-5, 6-4 win over Julia Valls in the No. 1 single match. No. 26 Parisa Rachdanone defeated Anke Delisse 6-3, 6-4.

No. 31 Lucia Mora picked up her single win with a 6-3, 3-6, 1-0 (10-6) performance against Krissy Vogel. Reshma Challarapu took down Amanda Dahlstrom 6-4, 7-5 as Salome Sposetti defeated Claudia Rodriguez 4-6, 7-5, 1-0 (10-6).

The No. 14 doubles pairing of Parra and Mora won the Blue Raiders only doubles match of the evening with a 6-4 win over Dahlstrom and Valls.

The Blue Raiders return to the court on March 5 for their home opener when they welcome Marian (Ind.) to Henry Baughman Tennis Complex for a 2 p.m. CT start.
